The Teaching Dept. was established during the year 1983. Certificate course in Library Science was first Professional and self Financed course introduced in this college affiliated to SGB Amravati University. Dr. S.R.Baheti is the course Co-ordinator since 1983. The course is of 5 Months Duration. Intake Capacity is 35 students in one batch (each year two batches).

This is job oriented course about 450 Students/Candidates have got the jobs in Public/School/College/Govt. Libraries etc. Since 1983 to 2009.

  • a) The Head of the Dept. Dr. S.R.Baheti and other teaching Staff has regularly attending the Academic Conferences and presented the research papers and also published the research paper in the reputed journals.
  • b) Minor research Project Proposal approved by UGC Submitted by Dr. S.R.Baheti and Work has been completed and Research Project Report Submitted to UGC on 30/04/09 through SGB Amravati University.
